About Journal

In line with the specialization of the journal's articles and reviews, the establishment of the specialized journal of Religions and Mysticism (Articles and Reviews) with scientific-research status was announced by the Commission for Reviewing Publications of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology on October 19, 2009, through notification number 3/11/1215. Since that year, the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences has been publishing two issues of the Religions and Mysticism quarterly each year, in two sections: (Spring and Summer) and (Autumn and Winter), based on the top articles submitted.

The Religions and Mysticism journal is ready to accept articles in the fields of the history of religions, mystical literature and Sufism, religious studies and its approaches, comparative studies of religions and mysticism, religion and ethics, religion and mythology, religion and the environment, and religion and development.

Open Access Policy: The journal provides free and unrestricted access to all articles for everyone for legal and non-commercial purposes, including reading, downloading, copying, printing, searching and linking to the full text with the condition of proper attribution to the author and the journal. The journal is licensed under Creative Commons as CC-BY-NC

Copyright and Publishing Rights Policy: The authors of the articles published in the journal retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution CC-BY-NC. The authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights.

Archive Policy: Since the stablishment of the Journal, it has stored all its articles in the Journal's internal archive, making them accessable to everyone. the Journal long term policy is to protect the content.

The Religions and Mysticism journal has signed a cooperation agreement with the Iranian Society of Islamic Mysticism to strengthen scientific and research collaboration between the two entities.

Important Note: All stages of article submission, review, revision, acceptance or rejection, and eventual publication are conducted through the journal's website. Manual issuance of acceptance certificates is not possible.
